By agreeing to the Terms of Service, you represent that you are the age of majority and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site. You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

You must not transmit any viruses or any code of a destructive nature.

A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.



Delivery

For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address is presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf. Should no-one attend the time of delivery, the driver will keep the products and leave a notice at the delivery address to that effect. The driver will attempt to contact you to make alternate arrangements for delivery or collection. We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should it be required in the circumstances. Please arrange that you or your authorised representative is available to accept your purchases at the delivery address and that appropriate access will be made available.


  • Forsmay Muslim Butchery delivers from Monday to Friday, 8a.m. till 4: 30p.m, and, Saturday, 8a.m till 1p.m.
  • We do not deliver on Public Holidays. Should your area of delivery fall on a public holiday, deliveries will be arranged for the next slot available.
  • In general, all food items are available for delivery if ordered before 2pm, the previous day. Exception may happen due to stock situation.
  • Our deliveries are free of charge provided orders meet the minimum order amount of R600. If your order value is under R600, a standard delivery charge of R120 will be applicable. Below is a full list of our delivery schedule.
  • We only deliver to registered customers within certain specified delivery areas. On delivery of the order to the specified delivery address, you will receive an invoice showing the items delivered and the amount debited from your payment card.

Returns & Refunds

For hygiene reasons any returns should be done upon delivery, we cannot accept returns after delivery has taken place.

How will I receive my refund? Once we have accepted a return and approved a refund, your refund will be processed via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)"

The item that you want to return must be in its original packaging and be unused to be eligible for a return.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. We will contact you when we have received your return. We will also inspect the returned product and inform you if your return has been approved or rejected (Based on the conditions of return). If we approved your return, we will process your refund with a credit applied to your bank account (EFT) which can take up to 7 working days.

  • Adjustments to Prices

    Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue any product (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the product.



    Sale/Promotion items

    Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.



    Discrepancy and Queries Policy

    As we are selling perishable items we regret to inform you that we cannot cancel an order once payment has been taken. If, for any reason, you are not happy with your Goods please contact us and we will do our very best to resolve the situation. Whether we resolve the issue by way of credit or replacement goods, is entirely at our discretion, and is dependent on you having complied with the following below:

    Please note that the onus is on you to do the following on receipt of your order:


    • Ensure that someone is at the delivery address during the agreed delivery window time to receive the Goods;
    • Ensure that the person receiving the Goods checks the order and notifies us of any discrepancies. Should no discrepancies be noted we will regard the order as having been delivered correctly and in full;
    • Ensure that all perishable products received are refrigerated as soon as possible after receipt of delivery; should you claim that your Goods are spoiled and we find that you did not refrigerate them timeously, we will not be required to refund or replace Goods. Please notify us as soon as possible of any discrepancy or complaint
    • If we accidentally deliver the wrong product to you, please notify us and we will collect the product from you at no charge and replace it with the correct order.

    To register you will need to create a profile where we will require your:

    Name and Surname

    E-mail address

    A password and some other details. Click here to go to the registration/login page
    1. Look for the goods you wish to buy.

    When you find an item that interests you, click the name of the item to see its details.

    2. Add to cart

    When you have decided on the goods that you want to buy, click on “Add to cart.” Your shopping cart contains all the products that you have selected to buy. Once you’ve added an item to your Shopping Cart, keep searching until your cart contains all of the items you want to order. You can access the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking the Shopping cart icon

    3. Check out
    • To proceed to checkout, click on the ‘proceed to checkout’ button.
    • Your product list will appear
    • If you are not logged in, you will now be prompted to log in or register
    • Select your delivery address ,create a new delivery address or specify if the order will be an in store collection.
    • Select your payment method, and click on the ‘buy now’ button on the bottom right of the page
    • Click on ‘proceed’ if you are ready to complete the payment process
    • • A complete order summary will now display with all the details of your order. Please ensure that all information, including your delivery details are correct.
    Due to meat items being weight determined, the total amount “Customers” pay will not be affected. We assure you that the amount paid at checkout via the website will be less than the amount due based on the invoice received on delivery. In terms of fresh chickens, they will be adjusted to offset any weight discrpencies.

    Depending on the area you reside in, please see our Monday to Saturday delivery schedule throughout most of the Greater Area of Johannesburg.
    Your order will be delivered between 9.00 a.m to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday. Please see our delivery schedule.
    If your total order value is over R600, delivery is free. If it is under R600, delivery is R120.
    You need to notify our driver immediately so that he can confirm a missing item. If this is verified it will be replaced free of charge.


    Payment



    You may pay with a valid credit card or via instant EFT
    Upon the successful placing of your order and the approval of your Credit Card. If there are any problems, we will try to contact you.
    Unfortunately, the Forsmay Loyalty Card can only be used instore.
    No. Payment will have to be done at checkout on the website.
    All orders need to be placed by 2pm for delivery. For example: If your delivery area falls on a Wednesday, orders need to be placed by Tuesday at 2pm.
